One of the primary goals is just to take teenagers who are looking for a place to belong, and give them that place.  Identity is a central need to every teen, and we want to show them that God created them as the person they are for a reason, and that he loves that person more than they could ever imagine!

Welcome to Refugee Teen Ministries, a place just for Middle School and High School students!

Do any of these words describe you: happy, exciting, funky, stinky, nerdy, awesome, musical, chill, interesting, crazy, 2 legit 2 quit, strong swimmer, honor role (except for those few B’s... and that C), skater, surfer, heli-boarder, spelunker, Bear Grylls, or just quite frankly awesome? Then you belong here! RTM really is a ministry where all kinds of young people are welcome to come as they are and figure out how in the world Jesus can still be relevant in a world like this. And we’re here to tell you that he isn’t just relevant, he’s Real!

This ain’t your grandma’s youth group. Okay, your grandma may not have had those back in her day. And we’re sure your grandma is a very sweet lady. The point is, RTM is a place where we come as we are and seek to make Jesus a part of our lives today, ‘cuz God will be the first to tell you--a lot has changed in the last 2,000 years, but Jesus is still as real as ever! If you’re not sure what to expect at RTM, all we have to say is “Come and see!” God isn’t boring, and he doesn’t want your life to be.

Come hang out with us and find out how good it feels to be a Refugee!

Building relationships....

Helping teenagers find refuge in God's love and to reflect that love in their Worship, Service, Image, and Relationships.

1 Peter 2:10-12 (NLT)
Once you had no identity as a people; now you are God’s people. Once you received no mercy; now you have received God’s mercy.
Dear friends, I warn you as "Refugees" to keep away from worldly desires that wage war against your very souls. Be careful to live properly among your unbelieving neighbors. Then even if they accuse you of doing wrong, they will see your honorable behavior, and they will give honor to God when he judges the world.
