Celebrate Recovery has been organized to meet the needs of men and women, family and friends, who find themselves involved in alcoholism, drug addiction or any life controlling problem.  Christ-centeredness and wholeness of spirit, mind and body are the aim of the Celebrate Recovery fellowship meetings as we reach out to people in need.

The fellowship meetings we conduct consist of those who have gained victory through Jesus Christ over alcoholism, drug addiction, or any life controlling problem and those who are still struggling but desire to be set free.

Meetings consist of sharing testimonies of victory over any particular life controlling issue, study of God’s truths toward Christian discipleship, caring for and sharing personal needs and believing in prayer for one another.  All are welcome at the regularly held fellowship meetings.

Celebrate Recovery fellowship meetings agree to hold in confidence all personal sharing heard in these meetings.

Celebrate Recovery acknowledges that God through Jesus Christ alone has the power to deliver us from all sin including bondage to alcohol, drugs or any life controlling problem.  The truth of God’s word, the Bible, will serve as the ultimate authority for the existence and activities of Celebrate Recovery.

Those within Celebrate Recovery, having already conquered alcoholism, addiction or any life controlling problem, agree to become friendship partners to others still struggling with these issues.  As a friendship partner, he or she will daily contact, pray for, and give non-judgmental encouragement to his or her partner.

GOD’S WORD

AND OUR STRATEGY

  1. 1.We admitted we were powerless over life controlling habits ___________ that our lives have been unmanageable.

  2. 2.We come to believe that God through Jesus Christ alone can restore us to soundness of mind and newness of life.

  3. 3.We made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God through Jesus Christ.

  4. 4.We made a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves.

  5. 5.We admitted to God, ourselves, and another person the exact nature of our wrongs.

  6. 6.We were entirely ready to have God remove all of our defect of character.

  7. 7.We humbly ask Him to remove all our shortcomings.

  1. 8.We made a list of all persons we harmed and became willing to make amends

  2. 9.We made direct amends to such people, whenever possible, except when to do so would injure them or others.

  3. 10.We continued to take personal inventory and when we were wrong, promptly admitted it.

  4. 11.We sought through prayer, study of God’s word, and meditation, to know God and grow in constant contact with Him, praying only for the knowledge of His will and the power to carry it out.

  5. 12.We have had a spiritual awakening as a result of these steps and have continued to practice these principles in all our affairs while endeavoring to carry this message to any who have life controlling problems.
